Professionals play a critical role in the success of an organization, economic development of a country, shaping policies and practices, as well as defining national legal frameworks. While the majority of professionals are diligent and ethical, a few however use their positions and expertise to achieve ulterior motives. In post-independent Kenya, a number of professionals have used their knowledge and skills to engage or aid in corrupt and criminal activities.
